Job Title: Senior Accountant

About the Role:

This is a mid-senior level accounting position that requires a strong understanding of UK accounting standards, regulations, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review work of junior accountants to ensure accuracy and quality of financial statements, VAT returns, corporate tax returns, and other accounting deliverables before submission.
  • Oversee preparation and submission of UK corporate tax returns, VAT returns, and P11Ds while ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Supervise and review UK payroll processes, ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations.
  • Assist in preparing statutory accounts for UK limited companies in accordance with UK accounting standards.
  • Work closely with junior bookkeepers providing guidance and constructive feedback while ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Effectively liaise with UK clients regarding financial reports, tax matters, and compliance requirements.
