Job Summary:

The Consolidation Accounting Supervisor will report to the Director, Accounting Reporting and be responsible for month-end functions working with the Corporate Accounting team. This role is suited for an experienced accounting professional familiar with US-based or global organizations and cross-border collaboration.

This individual will have a strong accounting background, keen attention to detail, and the ability to work through complex reporting cycles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the timely and accurate preparation of consolidated financial statements and footnote disclosures in accordance with US GAAP.
  • Maintain various schedules supporting financial statements and disclosures.
  • Prepare reconciliations and journal entries for intercompany activities, including equity method of accounting, fixed assets, leased assets, and POC accounting.
  • Review standalone financial statements of subsidiaries to understand operations and ensure accurate disclosures.
  • Work extensively with ERP systems, building customized reports for data analysis and reconciliations.
  • Suggest and support process improvements and efficiencies.
  • Support the corporate accounting team during month-end close.
  • Assist external auditors by providing necessary documentation and information.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting; CPA or equivalent international certification is a plus.
  • 6-10 years of progressive accounting and reporting experience, including consolidations and US GAAP reporting.
  • Strong technical accounting expertise, especially in intercompany eliminations.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Fluent in English with strong communication skills to explain complex concepts.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to analyze large datasets accurately.
  • Enthusiastic, eager to learn, and able to work with minimal supervision.
