About the Role

As a QA Automation Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining our automated testing system.

Your primary responsibility will be to design, build, and execute automated tests to ensure the quality of our software applications.

You will work closely with our engineering team to identify areas for automation, develop test plans, and implement tests using open-source/commercial frameworks and libraries.

A strong understanding of both browser-based UI testing and API testing is essential for this role.

In addition to your technical skills, you will also be expected to collaborate effectively with our manual QA engineer to prioritize which tests need automation and partner with engineers to build efficient processes for reporting issues discovered by automated tests.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience building an automated test environment from the ground up, with strong experience using Cypress or Playwright alongside BrowserStack.

A high level of JavaScript engineering skill is also required.
