The Software Developer 1 is an entry-level position where the employee will be responsible for learning fundamental software development skills and assisting in basic programming tasks. The role focuses on building coding proficiency and contributing to smaller, less complex tasks.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Develop clean, efficient, and maintainable code under the guidance of senior developers.

· Support software development activities, including coding, testing, and documentation tasks.

· Participate in application debugging and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues.

· Learn and apply coding standards, best practices, and development methodologies.

· Collaborate with cross-functional team members such as QA, Business Analysts, and Developers to understand requirements and contribute to implementation.

· Engage in Agile/Scrum workflows and actively participate in team ceremonies and deliverables.Assist in identifying and resolving system bugs, and address common system issues reported by end-users.

· Demonstrate a basic understanding of version control systems such as Git, TFVC, and similar tools

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs)

· Code Quality: Percentage of code written without major bugs or issues after testing.

· Task Completion: Percentage of assigned tasks completed on time.

· Learning Progress: Evidence of skill development through tasks, peer feedback, and mentorship.

· Collaboration: Active participation in team meetings and effective communication with peers.

· Bug Resolution Time: Average time to resolve identified bugs or issues.
