Job Summary

The Accounting Manager oversees the accounting team to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading all aspects of accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
  • Preparing and presenting financial statements, reports, budgets, and forecasts to senior management.
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, as well as internal policies.

Key responsibilities also include coordinating the yearly audit process, liaising with external auditors, monitoring cash flow and financial performance, and suggesting improvements as necessary.

The successful candidate will implement and maintain effective accounting systems and internal controls, provide training and support to accounting staff, and participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes.

Additionally, the Accounting Manager will develop and maintain accounting principles, practices, and procedures, manage daily operations of the accounting department, prepare financial statements, budgets, and cash flow forecasts, and monitor and analyze financial data.

Other key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with local and national financial regulations and tax requirements, collaborating with other departments to support financial decision-making and strategic planning, and evaluating and recommending improvements to accounting systems and processes.
