Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for owning and overseeing the data, processes, and controls that ensure the accuracy of bonus and commission programs. This role supports the monthly and quarterly commissions and bonus calculations for all business segments, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver accurate and timely compensation.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, accounting, or a related field, and at least four years of experience in sales compensation, FP&A, or a finance-related role. You will also possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to communicate complex financial concepts effectively to stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
  1. Lead the preparation and maintenance of the quarterly compensation workbook independently, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  2. Oversee and manage the end-to-end company-wide compensation process, driving continuous improvements and efficiencies.
  3. Prepare and submit monthly incentives and bonus calculation files, reviewing and maintaining relevant data needed for accurate calculations (e.g., comp plan terms, employee target incentives) in the compensation system.
  4. Maintain sensitive and confidential information securely, in compliance with policies and procedures.
  5. Address complex commission and bonus inquiries, adjustments, and corrections promptly, ensuring positive employee experience and serving as an escalation point for the team.
  6. Maintain sales compensation documentation, ensuring accuracy and timeline adherence.
  7. Collaborate with revenue operations teams on systems improvements for commissions.
  8. Document and maintain processes for monthly, quarterly, and annual commission accounting tasks and audits.
  9. Design and develop complex queries, reports, and analyses to support fact-based business decisions.
  10. Provide ad-hoc and regular reporting, analysis, and key projects for stakeholders.
  11. Partner with Finance teams on accruals, reporting, and operating cadence.
  12. Calculate and maintain performance dashboards.
  13. Act as subject matter expert on sales compensation, providing expertise and strategic guidance to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  1. Creatures complex spreadsheets, formulas, pivot tables, and data visualizations in Microsoft Excel with accuracy and efficiency.
  2. Maintains exceptional attention to detail, staying organized while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  3. Engages and communicates confidently with senior leaders and C-Suite executives.
  4. Clear and coherent in both written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across different teams and departments.
