Senior Accountant Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to manage daily accounting operations, prepare financial reports, and ensure accurate data management. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in accounting principles, QuickBooks Online, and Bill.com.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Financial Reporting:
      • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
      • Ensure timely reporting of all financial data.
      • Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
      • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
      • Manage month-end and year-end close processes.
      • Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
    • Accounts Payable and Receivable:
      • Oversee accounts payable and receivable using QuickBooks Online and Bill.com.
      • Review vendor invoices, employee expenses, and client billings.
      • Ensure timely collection of receivables and payment of payables.
    • Budget Preparation and Forecasting:
      • Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
      • Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis.
      • Recommend financial actions based on financial analysis and projections.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior accounting role.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Bill.com required.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
