Financial Operations Specialist

We're seeking a detail-oriented and financially savvy Financial Operations Specialist to support the financial operations of two growing creative businesses.
You'll be responsible for managing day-to-day bookkeeping across multiple accounts, ensuring accurate records, and providing financial clarity that enables the founders to focus on growth.
This is a part-time opportunity with a potential to grow to full-time, requiring approximately ~10 hours/week.
Key Responsibilities- Manage QuickBooks Online including reconciliations, categorizing expenses, and invoice management
- Clear existing backlog of bank reconciliations and maintain accurate, up-to-date records
- Generate and send client invoices, track payments, and issue reminders as needed
- Handle international transfers via Airwallex and similar platforms
- Manage retainer billing for select clients
- Track and organize financial records across multiple revenue streams
- Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly reports
- Proven bookkeeping experience (at least 1 year), ideally with small or creative businesses
- Proficiency with QuickBooks Online
- Experience handling international transactions
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Good written and spoken English communication skills
- Comfortable with remote tools (Google Drive, QuickBooks, Slack)
