Job Overview

This role at Dempsey Resource Management is responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with overall business operations to support sales, finance, and warehouse activities.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives to support business operations.
  • Prepare and implement the Code of Conduct and Ethics; amend company policies and disciplinary actions as required.
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, and other issues.
  • Manage rewards and motivation; oversee the performance appraisal system and pre-employment requirements.
  • Provide training, counseling, and coaching for staff.
  • Ensure legal compliance with regulatory bodies.
  • Handle workplace investigations, disciplinary actions, and termination procedures.
  • Prepare and update job descriptions, memoranda/HR correspondences, guidelines, and the organizational chart.
  • Provide support to sales requirements and coordinate with Warehouse OIC on staff performance, policies, violations, and resolutions.
  • Oversee safekeeping and updating of employee 201 files; prepare notices of personnel movement (transfers, reassignments, promotions).
  • Prepare/update HR forms templates and the company operations manual for the HR department.
  • Coordinate with Finance on policy creation, revision, and updating aligned with company operations.
  • Oversee recruitment and selection, including campus recruitment; monitor manpower requirements.
  • Prepare Onboarding Manual and manage compensation and benefits in compliance with law, in close coordination with Finance/Payroll.

Qualifications
  • Requires a BACHELORS DEGREE.
  • Has experience as HR Manager or HR Consultant, preferably from a retail company.
  • Can start immediately.
  • Can work onsite and travel to the corporate office.
