We are seeking an experienced Prospect Researcher to join our global team.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of conducting high-level research on individuals, corporations, trusts, and foundations to identify potential partners and donors whose interests may align with our organization's mission.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Planning and executing strategies to identify potential partners and donors through analysis of their financial capacity, affinity, and linkage to our organization.
  • Conducting in-depth research on individual, corporate, and foundation prospects.
  • Analyzing the donor database to proactively identify new prospects and increase the pipeline.
  • Building strong relationships with fundraisers and relationship managers to link data and research to prospect approaches.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • At least 2 years' experience in a prospect research role, preferably in a non-profit or university setting.
  • Knowledge of development, the donor lifecycle, and engagement activities.
  • Excellent research and communication skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • A commitment to providing high-quality service.
  • The ability to assess information rapidly and rigorously from various sources.
Work Environment

This is a freelance/consultant position, requiring 16-20 hours of work per week.

The remote worker will be part of a global team and will have access to all necessary tools and resources to perform their duties effectively.
