Job Title: Mortgage Loan Processor

Main Responsibilities:
  • Review loan applications for accuracy and completeness, ensuring all necessary information is provided.
  • Gather and verify financial documents such as credit reports, tax returns, pay stubs, and bank statements to support loan packages.
  • Prepare loan packages for underwriting approval and coordinate communication with stakeholders.
  • Evaluate documentation compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and update loan status in the system, maintaining open communication with clients and colleagues.
  • Address documentation or credit issues and obtain additional information when required.
  • Collaborate with closing teams to schedule and prepare final documents.
  • Maintain accurate records and files according to company policies and auditing standards.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in loan processing or mortgage broking.
Skills:
  • Proficiency in loan origination systems.
  • Ability to verify income for PAYG and self-employed individuals.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Capacity to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
