Job Summary

The Senior Account Collector will work as a full-time employee in the United States. This role involves closely following instructions and processes outlined by the designated internal department.

Role Details

  • Industry: Outsourcing
  • Work Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST
  • Workdays: Monday through Friday
  • Written and spoken English skill: Very Proficient

Responsibilities

  1. Processing, verifying, and posting receipts for goods sold or services rendered;
  2. Following up on, collect, and allocate payments for credit card customers;
  3. Communicating with previous clients and customers to request payment and arrange payment plans;
  4. Maintaining records regarding payments and account statuses;
  5. Performing account reconciliations by making sure prepaid customers have no outstanding balances on their account;
  6. Researching and resolving account discrepancies;
  7. Working extensively with the collections department to review accounts, client payments, credit history, and develop new or better repayment terms;
  8. Creating reports and balance sheets that document overall profits and losses;
  9. Obtaining information from other departments to ensure records are accurate and complete and that accounts receivable ledgers and journals are up to date;
  10. Performing administrative and clerical tasks, such as data entry, preparing invoices, sending bill reminders, filing paperwork, and contacting clients to discuss their accounts; and
  11. Performing tasks analogous to the foregoing
