Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned accounting professional to join our team as an Senior Accounting Manager.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to drive process improvements.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in accounting, finance, and leadership, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all financial statements and reports.
  • Analyze general ledger accounts and provide insights on significant variances, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Develop and implement internal controls to ensure accuracy, reliability, and integrity of financial data.
  • Collaborate with external auditors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Manage and supervise a team of accountants, providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • CPA certification or active progress toward CPA required.
  • Minimum 4 years of accounting experience, preferably in a senior leadership role.
  • Hands-on experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines, with a strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Masters degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience with ERP systems, such as SAP or Oracle.
  • Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and IFRS accounting standards.
  • Certification in accounting software, such as QuickBooks or Xero.
  • Familiarity with auditing procedures and regulations.
