Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist for an Ecommerce Payment Platform

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) specialist to join our team. As FP&A specialist, you will play a key role in building and improving our budgeting, reporting, and analytical processes.

Your primary responsibility will be to help us develop and maintain accurate financial models, forecasts, and reports that drive business decisions.

You will work closely with our data team to integrate operational and financial data, providing actionable insights to improve forecasting accuracy and risk-adjust project ROI.

In addition, you will build relationships with leaders of other business units, collaborate on budgeting across the organization, and serve as a go-to resource for internal and external financial reports, dashboards, and visualizations.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Post-secondary degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Commerce, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in financial reporting, business analysis, or a related field.
  • Experience with financial statement production and/or analysis.
  • Knowledge of accounting data hierarchies and structure.
  • Strong communication skills in written, spoken, and visualization mediums.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to understand financial implications of key decisions.
  • Excellent relationship management skills.
