Senior Vulnerability Management Consultant

The role of Senior Vulnerability Management Consultant is crucial in leading the operation and tuning of an enterprise vulnerability assessment program. This involves managing scan policies, prioritizing findings based on business risk, coordinating remediation, and delivering executive-level reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Configure, monitor, and manage the Vulnerability Assessment (VA) platform and related components to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Define and manage scan schedules, credential rotation, and scan windows for authenticated scanning across infrastructure to minimize risks.
  • Review, interpret, and prioritize vulnerability scan results based on severity, business impact, and risk to inform remediation decisions.
  • Provide actionable guidance to application, infrastructure, and network teams to facilitate remediation and follow up on completion.
  • Deliver regular vulnerability and compliance dashboards and executive summary reports to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and support platform upgrades, patching, and version control of VA tools and agents to maintain security and efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate asset inventories and ensure alignment with in-scope scanning targets to ensure comprehensive risk management.
  • Host governance and remediation review meetings with client stakeholders to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of vulnerability prioritization logic to improve remediation efforts.
  • Review and approve ad-hoc scan requests in support of audit, compliance, or incident response to ensure timely and effective remediation.
