Job Summary

We are seeking a Compliance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all company activities comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

This role involves rendering opinions and providing informational assistance on compliance matters, conducting gap analyses, and managing compliance-related systems.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Renders opinions and informational assistance on compliance matters, including new regulatory issuances and MLPP/AML concerns.
  • Conducts gap analysis for new regulatory issuances versus existing practices and procedures, recommending courses of action to business units.
  • Manages compliance-related systems, acts as project manager and administrator, and conducts trainings as necessary.
  • Performs periodic compliance testing to determine adherence to regulatory and association requirements.
  • Drafts and updates compliance-related policies and manuals.
  • Handles special projects related to compliance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Graduate of any 4-year course.
  • At least 6 years of work experience in the banking industry, preferably with exposure to credit card operations, payment solutions, and non-secure loans, with a compliance/legal background.
  • Excellent analytical and oral/written communication skills.
  • Adaptable to technological changes, including AI.
