Accounting Leadership Role

This position involves overseeing general accounting operations and managing financial transactions. Key responsibilities include reconciling account balances, maintaining the general ledger, preparing month-end close procedures, and ensuring accuracy in all accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, review and analyze financial data to create reports on financial status.
  • Prepare timely and accurate accounting reports for executives and senior management, develop recommendations to optimize accounting systems and detect inaccuracies.
  • Support staff with accounting control procedures, supervise accounting assistants and bookkeepers, plan their work, and assign tasks.
  • Participate in forecasting processes, take part in departmental goal setting activities, and ensure that accounting procedures comply with GAAP requirements.

Additionally, this role will involve organizing financial statements and budget preparation, supporting tax audits, and working together with financial and accounting managers to optimize financial operations.
