Key Responsibilities
  • Develop menus, recipes, and standard operating procedures with attention to detail and discipline.
  • Collaborate with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless operational and commercial consistency.
  • Lead sous chefs and the back-of-house team through clear delegation and coaching.
  • Manage kitchen scheduling, shift planning, and team coverage to maintain high standards of productivity.
  • Maintain kitchen readiness, stock levels, and equipment operation to prevent downtime.
  • Drive team readiness to prevent gaps and stockouts.
  • Execute line checks and tastings to uphold product quality and standards.
  • Coach the kitchen team to execute recipes consistently and meet customer expectations.
  • Monitor spoilage, overproduction, and yield performance to optimize kitchen efficiency.
  • Oversee kitchen inventory movement and usage to minimize waste and maximize profit.
  • Refine portioning, reduce waste, and improve kitchen efficiency through data-driven decision making.
  • Hold vendors accountable for agreed-upon product standards and service delivery.
  • Communicate kitchen changes clearly and professionally to stakeholders.
