Role Overview

The Assistant School Principal ensures the smooth operation of school processes, leading the implementation and improvement of core processes. This individual provides administrative and instructional support to staff, working closely with the Principal to ensure efficient operation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage core process launches, including the school year launch.
  • Update core process documentation to reflect current practices.
  • Provide weekly process status updates to the Principal.
  • Assist the Principal in providing instructional leadership, preparing for department meetings and formulating meeting agendas.
  • Support curriculum planning, review, and implementation.
  • Collaborate with instructional coaches and department heads to ensure quality instruction.
  • Help coordinate professional development initiatives and follow-ups.
  • Assist with evaluation of lay staff, scheduling, data collection, and documentation.
  • Supervise completion of teacher and staff responsibilities.
Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Master's Degree or higher, with a concentration in Educational Administration.
  • Minimum of ten years of successful teaching experience.
  • Minimum of five years in school leadership (e.g., department head, coach, or assistant principal).
  • Skilled in launching, executing, and refining schoolwide core processes.
  • Able to adapt processes and strategies to evolving school needs.
  • Technological proficiency, especially with LMS platforms and digital tools.
  • Strong organization, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Comfortable and effective in a remote work environment.
