Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Insurance Account Manager to join our team. This role involves handling insurance applications and Acord forms, submitting quotes with underwriters via email, and managing quotes through online portals.


About the Role
  • The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Responsibilities include complete and process insurance applications and Acord forms accurately, submit quote requests to underwriters via email, obtain quotes from online insurance portals, and prepare comparative proposals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Insurance Application Processing: Complete and process insurance applications and Acord forms accurately to ensure timely submission and approval.
  • Quote Management: Submit quote requests to underwriters via email and track responses to secure the best possible rates for clients.
  • Client Communication: Communicate with underwriters and clients to ensure timely processing of applications and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain organized records and documentation of all submissions and quotes to facilitate efficient tracking and follow-up.

Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, finance, or insurance.
  • Experience: 2-5 years of experience in insurance, underwriting support, or account management.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency with Acord forms and insurance quoting portals.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
    • Familiarity with tools like NowCerts (Agency Management System) and online quoting portals for insurance carriers and wholesalers.
