Dental Claims Specialist: A Critical Role in Delivering Exceptional Service

You will play a vital part in delivering exceptional service to clients while upholding quality and integrity.

Responsibilities include:

  • Following-up on outstanding insurance claims, ensuring all follow-ups are properly documented and communicated by adding a notation to the patient's account.
  • Sending out claims and attachments to insurance, determining denial validity and addressing them accordingly.
  • Generating OI reports and ensuring their monthly completion, as well as claim resubmission and reprocessing, including grievance and appeals.
  • Clearing rejected claims on a weekly basis and updating the office tracker to include all payments posted.
  • Completing all follow-ups assigned, generating EFT reports, and retrieving EOBs from insurance portals for posting.
  • Identifying any insurance process updates or issues and communicating findings with the team.
Requirements
  • A strong command of verbal and written English, with little to no accent when speaking.
  • A background in dental insurance or collections industries.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in collections.
  • Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a remote position.
  • Outstanding organizational, time management, and follow-up skills.
