Data Researcher Role

We are seeking a detail-driven professional to join our fundraising team as a Data Researcher.

About the Role

The successful candidate will play a critical role in identifying and profiling potential donors, gathering comprehensive background information that enables our team to make informed and personalized outreach efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough online research to collect publicly available data on potential donors
  • Compile accurate contact details, including phone numbers, email addresses, and social media profiles
  • Investigate business affiliations, philanthropic history, and other relevant background information
  • Utilize platforms such as LinkedIn, online directories, government databases, search engines, and AI tools
  • Organize findings into structured reports for internal use
  • Maintain confidentiality and data integrity throughout the research process
Requirements
  • Expertise in online research and internet navigation
  • Tech-savviness with strong familiarity using search engines, databases, and AI tools
  • Exceptional attention to detail and documentation skills
  • Fluency in English (French proficiency is an asset)
  • Comfortable working independently and managing deadlines
  • Experience in donor research, fundraising, or nonprofit sectors is a plus
