The National Sales Manager will be responsible for:

- Conducting market research to analyze trends, competition, and customer needs.
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
The National Sales Manager will be responsible for:
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with contractors, project managers, and procurement teams.
- Conducting client meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations.
- Negotiating and closing deals while ensuring competitive pricing and profitability.
Team Leadership & Performance Management
The National Sales Manager will be responsible for:
- Recruiting, training, and mentoring a high-performing sales team.
- Setting clear goals, performance metrics, and sales targets for team members.
- Conducting regular performance reviews and providing coaching to improve individual and team performance.
Project Bidding & Contract Management
The National Sales Manager will be responsible for:
- Leading the preparation of bids, proposals, and tenders for formworks and falseworks projects.
- Working closely with engineering, design, and project teams to ensure feasibility and competitive pricing of solutions.
- Overseeing contract negotiations and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Monitoring ongoing projects to ensure client satisfaction and identifying upselling opportunities.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 10 years of sales experience in the construction industry, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
- In-depth understanding of formworks, falseworks, scaffolding, and consumable items and accessories used in construction.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, with strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Progressive experience managing and mentoring a sales team to drive performance and achieve business goals.
- Established relationships with key players in the construction sector, including contractors, developers, and suppliers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address client concerns and market challenges.
