Job Summary

The Financial Analyst plays a pivotal role in ensuring accurate and compliant revenue recognition in accordance with accounting standards.

This position is crucial to managing the operational and technical aspects of revenue recognition, including reviewing customer agreements, performing revenue allocations, maintaining revenue schedules, and supporting monthly and quarterly closes.

The ideal candidate will bring solid accounting experience, keen analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in monthly financial close activities by preparing journal entries and performing key account reconciliations.
  • Review standard and non-standard agreements to determine the appropriate revenue recognition under U.S. GAAP.
  • Manage and maintain accounting systems to ensure accurate and compliant revenue recognition in accordance with accounting standards.
  • Work cross-functionally within the organization to drive automation efforts to streamline financial operations related to revenue accounting.
  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve internal process documentation to ensure clarity, consistency, and operational efficiency across teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field or ACCA/CIMA qualified or progress toward certification strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally in financial analysis with a focus on ASC 606.
  • Proficiency with accounting software and financial tools.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
