Job Overview

The Renewals Manager role is a key position within our organization. This individual will be responsible for managing assigned customer accounts, working closely with sales teams, professional services, technical support, and sales operations to resolve customer issues. The focus of this position is on recurring revenue and software asset management in assigned accounts. Developing strong customer relationships that promote retention and loyalty is crucial. Additionally, the successful candidate will have a solid understanding of CPQ quoting and license auditing to ensure accuracy when engaging with procurement teams.

This includes being a licensing expert and having a deep understanding of all owned assets within a given account. Strong complex software quoting skills are also essential. The ability to understand Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR), Annual Contract Value (ACV), and Total Contract Value (TCV) Revenue Models is necessary. Collaboration with professional services, technical support, and regional sales team ensures smooth onboarding of new customers. Working closely with customers during the renewal process for optimal retention is critical. Direct relationship building with sales teams drives expansions. Reviewing client requests with technical support, product management, and regional sales team, and escalating as necessary, is a vital part of this role. Identifying at-risk accounts and taking appropriate action or escalating when needed is essential. Ensuring positive customer experiences through proactive relationship management, including identifying key stakeholders, is key. Proactively starting the procurement/renewal process three months prior to the renewal date guarantees timely renewals.
