Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned professional with extensive experience in revenue cycle management to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical billing, coding, and claims processing within the U.S. healthcare system.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs tailored for professionals transitioning into revenue cycle management.
  • Design live and virtual training sessions covering medical billing, coding, claims processing, accounts receivable management, and compliance.
  • Create training materials, case studies, and practical exercises to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) and revenue cycle management software for hands-on training.
Technical Skills
  • Teach insurance claims processing, denials management, payment posting, and accounts receivable follow-up.
  • Instruct on ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding basics and their integration into revenue cycle workflows.
  • Explain Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance reimbursement policies for the U.S. market.
  • Guide learners in revenue cycle performance metrics (Net Collection Rate, AR Days, First-Pass Resolution).
Coaching & Certification Preparation
  • Assist trainees in preparing for industry certifications (e.g., CRCR, CPB, CMRS, CHFP).
  • Provide ongoing mentorship and career guidance for job placement in revenue cycle roles.
  • Conduct mock audits, real-world case studies, and practice claim submissions.
Process Improvement & Compliance
  • Ensure training covers HIPAA, compliance laws, fraud prevention, and best practices.
  • Stay updated with CMS regulations, payer policy changes, and revenue cycle industry trends.
  • Recommend workflow optimizations for reducing claim denials and improving cash flow.
Requirements
Education & Certification
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Healthcare Administration, Business Management, or related field.
  • At least one industry certification (preferred): CRC, CPB, CHF, CMR, CMRS, or equivalent.
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in medical billing, revenue cycle management, healthcare finance, or claims processing for the U.S. healthcare system.
  • Experience in training, mentoring, or teaching revenue cycle-related topics is highly preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with revenue cycle software, EHR, and practice management systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Kareo, Medisoft).
Skills & Competencies
  • Strong knowledge of medical coding (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS) and claims submission.
  • Expertise in insurance billing, payment posting, accounts receivable management, and reimbursement analysis.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for diverse learner backgrounds.
  • Ability to design training materials and deliver engaging learning experiences.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on revenue cycle process improvement and compliance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in a U.S. healthcare revenue cycle management role.
  • Knowledge of revenue cycle automation tools and process optimization strategies.
  • Experience with virtual training platforms and e-learning.
