Equipment Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled professional to take on the responsibility of setting up, converting, calibrating, repairing, and performing preventive and predictive maintenance on automated test handlers. This includes sub-assemblies and related components or parts.

As an Equipment Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for verifying yield and quality assurance failures in manufacturing. Your tasks will include troubleshooting setups, performing basic tester debugging, and documenting through our process improvement system. Collaboration with manufacturing and engineering teams, submission of performance reports, and participation in efficiency and quality improvement programs aligned with TQM principles will also be key aspects of your role.

  • You must have basic knowledge of electronic circuits, ability to interpret schematic diagrams, and familiarity with test equipment setup and operation.
  • Can operate the equipment (Explain major equipment subsystem)
  • Performs simple setups and conversion.

To be successful in this role, you should hold a degree in Electronics Technology, Mechanical Technology, Electro-Mechanical Technology, or any related vocational course. Fresh graduates or individuals with at least one year's work experience in electronics or semiconductor industry are preferred.
