About this role

We are seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to join our team.

This field service role involves extensive travel to customer sites nationwide.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic/electrical testing, installation (or PIPs), troubleshooting, and repair of cranes.
  • Conduct inspection, diagnosis, and/or crane health checks for customers nationwide.
  • Provide operator trainings and commissioning on new or used cranes sold to customers.
  • Prepare detailed reports and provide recommended parts and maintenance to customers.
  • Complete required documentation including field service reports and timesheets.
  • Attend service trainings as prescribed by the company to improve technical competencies.
  • Ensure proper use and upkeep of assigned company assets.
  • Comply with safety policies and procedures on company and customer premises.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electromechanical Technology / Mechanical Engineering or 2-year technical course specializing in Electromechanical technology.
  • Must have basic English oral and written communication skills, computer literate, able to read and interpret technical diagrams, and able to drive.
  • Able to work overtime as required.
  • Extensive domestic travel may be required.
  • Able to work on provincial assignments.
