Job Overview

The primary function of this role is to oversee the day-to-day operations of a non-exempt work group, including assigning tasks and monitoring attendance. The Operations Manager will also provide input into selecting, training, developing, and completing performance appraisals of team members in accordance with organizational policies and applicable legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage team leaders and representatives to ensure quality service delivery that meets client needs while supporting corporate goals and policies
  • Ensure optimal productivity and service level goals are maintained at all times
  • Develop strong working relationships with clients and continuously strive to improve overall service levels
  • Day-to-day management of accounts and related issues
  • Monitor, measure, report and analyze data to enhance call centre performance
  • Identify and resolve performance/behavior/attendance issues using prescribed performance management techniques
  • Responsible for staffing and hiring decisions
  • Provide subject matter expertise as required
Qualifications
  • Knowledge: Up-to-date management skills and understanding of employee motivation principles
  • Knowledge: Understanding of key performance indicators and ability to drive appropriate behavior

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree (any field) preferred
  • At least 2 years of experience as an Operations or Program Manager
