Job Title: Financial Controller

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor contracts and agreements with vendors, consultants, banks, tenants, contractors, municipalities, etc.
  2. Perform account receivable functions, including invoicing, deposits, collections, and revenue tracking.
  3. Conduct reconciliation of all accounts on an as-needed basis.
  4. Manage data entry and oversee bank reconciliation process.
  5. Gather data for the preparation of monthly reports to track company financials.
  6. Prepare balance sheets, financial statements, and payroll documents.
  7. Maintain strict confidentiality of company books and records.
  8. Ad hoc tasks.

Requirements:

  1. At least 1 year proven experience as a bookkeeper with international clients.
  2. Someone with knowledge of US Taxation is preferred.
  3. Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  4. Solid understanding of financial/accounting terminologies and practices.
  5. With a good background in Quickbooks, Asana, and Excel.
  6. Tech savvy & familiar with current technologies, like desktop sharing, cloud services, and VoIP.
  7. Experience with word-processing software and spreadsheets (e.g., MS Office).
  8. Knowledge of online calendars and scheduling (e.g., Google Calendar).
  9. Proactive attitude.
  10. Able to work on a graveyard shift.
