Job Title: Financial Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced financial management professional to manage our day-to-day accounting functions, conduct detailed financial analysis, and provide actionable insights that support business operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Analysis & Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop and maintain budgets and financial forecasts; provide variance analysis and recommendations for corrective actions to optimize business performance.
  • Financial Reports and Analysis: Create, automate, and improve comprehensive financial reports across functions to support strategic decision-making and drive business growth.
  • Recommendations: Deliver scheduled comprehensive updates and strategic recommendations based on financial records and analytical reports to ensure organizational financial hygiene, maximize profitability, and meet business objectives.
  • Accounting Operations: Oversee daily accounting functions, including general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Transaction Processing: Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy and timely processing of transactions, and maintaining a healthy cash flow.
  • Compliance & Auditing: Coordinate with external auditors and tax professionals to ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards, minimizing risk and potential liabilities.
  • Collaboration & Support: Work closely with remote teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of financial tasks, fostering a collaborative work environment.
Requirements:
  • Education & Certification: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field; Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent certification.
  • Experience: 5+ years in accounting, financial analysis, AR/AP, month-end reconciliation; 3+ years creating financial reports, ideally in e-commerce or remote/digital businesses.
  • Skills & Expertise: Strong knowledge of US GAAP; Proficiency in financial data interpretation and reporting; Experience with QuickBooks, Xero, Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel; Familiarity with cloud-based ERP systems and financial modeling tools.
