About the Role

This is a remote position for a Senior Corporate Accountant in Makati. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting operations, including financial statement preparation and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge in Financial Accounting and Financial Reporting, as well as experience in Budgeting, Forecasting, and Financial Analysis. Proficiency in Tax Compliance and Regulatory Compliance is also essential. Additionally, the candidate should be skilled in Auditing and collaborating with auditors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily accounting operations, including financial statement preparation and analysis
  • Prepare and analyze budgets and forecasts
  • Evaluate and ensure compliance with financial regulations
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors
  • Guide accounting staff and improve financial processes

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge in Financial Accounting and Financial Reporting
  • Experience in Budgeting, Forecasting, and Financial Analysis
  • Proficiency in Tax Compliance and Regulatory Compliance
  • Skilled in Auditing and collaborating with auditors
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven leadership and ability to guide a team
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or similar certification is preferred
  • Experience in the mining industry is a plus
