Key Role in Financial Operations

Job Description

As a skilled financial management professional, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing our client's financial operations.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage day-to-day financial activities, including accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
  2. Maintain precise and up-to-date financial records using advanced accounting software such as Quickbooks, Xero, Intacct, NetSuite, etc.
  3. Prepare and analyze comprehensive financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements to inform business decisions.
  4. Generate timely and insightful financial reports for senior management review, highlighting key trends and areas for improvement.
  5. Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in financial transactions, mitigating potential risks.
  6. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to optimize financial performance.
  7. Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulations, maintaining the highest level of integrity.
  8. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and overall financial management effectiveness.
  9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic financial initiatives and drive business growth.
  10. Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to address financial queries and concerns, fostering a culture of transparency and open communication.

Requirements

For this key role, we seek a highly qualified individual with:

  1. A degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles, with a proven track record of success.
  3. Proficiency in accounting software such as Quickbooks, Xero, Intacct, NetSuite, etc.
  4. A strong understanding of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
  5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box.
  6. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with expertise in data analysis and visualization.
  7. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, with a focus on quality and precision.
  8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts clearly and concisely.
  9. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  10. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, with a high degree of autonomy and self-motivation.
