Asset Management Professional

This role oversees the control, tracking, and movement of government and company-owned assets. Key responsibilities include maintaining accurate property records, supervising receipt and storage of equipment, managing property transfers, and preparing reports for lost, damaged, or stolen property.

The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, conduct physical inventories, and resolve discrepancies. Additionally, they will develop SOPs for effective asset handling, monitoring contract requirements, and working closely with procurement, warehousing, and finance teams.

To be successful in this role, candidates should have a solid understanding of DoD property accountability standards, hands-on experience with inventory control and shipping coordination, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and asset management systems.

This is a nationwide project requiring someone who is willing to travel and take on assignments at various project sites across the country.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Engineering, Business, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in property and logistics management
  • Solid understanding of DoD property accountability standards
  • Hands-on experience with inventory control, shipping coordination, and asset transfers
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational and record-keeping skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and asset/property management systems
