Job Title: Taxation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Taxation Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert tax advice and services to clients, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation and review of individual and corporate tax returns, as well as US sales and use tax returns.
• Assisting taxpayers in utilizing federal, state, and local tax codes to ensure maximum benefit.
• Providing coaching, training, and mentoring to the team to enhance their tax knowledge and skills.
• Handling sales calls to potential clients and managing relationships with existing clients.
• Managing and implementing various improvement projects to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness.
• Supporting the director in developing business strategies and contributing to the growth of the company.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• CPA license is required; IRS Enrolled Agent License is also necessary.
• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in public accounting focusing on taxation.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree in Taxation is preferred).
• Strong leadership skills, including the ability to mentor and develop professional staff.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as analytical and problem-solving abilities.
