Controller Leadership Position

The company seeks a seasoned Controller to oversee the end-to-end financial management cycle, encompassing strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) activities to ensure accurate budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling in support of business objectives.
  • Oversight of month-end close processes to guarantee timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Preparation, review, and presentation of Management Reports, highlighting key business drivers, trends, and variances.
  • Maintenance and enhancement of Financial Models to support informed decision-making and scenario planning.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams to synchronize financial plans with operational goals.
  • Adherence to internal policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Development and implementation of process improvements for efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness of financial reporting.
  • Leadership and mentorship of a remote finance team, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Support for internal and external audits, providing documentation and explanations as needed.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred).
  • No less than 8 years of progressive experience in controllership, financial planning & analysis, and reporting.
  • Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and variance analysis.
  • Proficiency in month-end close processes and financial statement preparation.
  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and present clear insights.
  • Excellent knowledge of financial reporting tools and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Hyperion etc.).
  • Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to non-financial audiences.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote/Work from Home setup.
