We are seeking an experienced and creative specialist to help us strengthen our online authority through strategic link acquisition for our local SEO activity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and Execute Link-Building Strategies: Improve domain authority and organic rankings through white-hat link-building strategies and best practices.
• Conduct Backlink Analysis and Competitor Research: Identify link-building opportunities by analyzing backlinks and competitors.
• Outreach and Relationship Management: Build relationships with webmasters, bloggers, and influencers through guest posts, mentions, and partnerships.
• Create Compelling Email Outreach Campaigns: Secure backlinks and citations through targeted email outreach campaigns.
• Manage Law Firm Listings: Submit and manage law firm listings on high-authority legal directories (e.g., Avvo, Justia, FindLaw).
• Collaborate with Content and SEO Teams: Develop link-worthy content strategies in collaboration with the content and SEO teams.
• Monitor Backlink Profile Health: Remove toxic or spammy links from the backlink profile.
• Track and Analyze Performance Metrics: Use SEO tools to track, report, and analyze link-building performance metrics.
• Stay Up-to-Date with SEO Best Practices: Stay current with Google's algorithm updates and SEO best practices.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Proven Experience: Proven experience as a specialist and GBP listings/citations, preferably within the professional services industry.
• Strong Understanding of SEO Fundamentals: Excellent understanding of SEO fundamentals, off-page optimization, and link-building tactics.
• Excellent Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills for outreach purposes.
• Relationship Building: Ability to build and nurture relationships with webmasters, bloggers, and influencers.
• Knowledge of Google Search Algorithms: Knowledge of Google search algorithms and ranking factors.
• White-Hat Link-Building Methods: Experience with ethical and white-hat link-building methods (no PBNs, spammy techniques, or black-hat tactics).
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze backlink profiles and identify areas for improvement.
• Self-Motivated and Detail-Oriented: Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Tools You Should Be Familiar With:

• SEO & Link Analysis Tools: Ahrefs, Moz, SEMrush, Majestic SEO, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Brightlocal.
• Outreach & Relationship Management Tools: BuzzStream, Pitchbox, Hunter.io, LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
• Content Collaboration & Tracking Tools: Trello, Asana, Google Sheets/Docs.
• Competitor Analysis Tools: SimilarWeb, SpyFu.

PREFERRED SKILLS (Bonus Points):

• Experience in Legal SEO: Experience in legal SEO and familiarity with legal directories and citation sources.
• Basic Knowledge of HTML: Basic knowledge of HTML and website structure for technical SEO insights.
• Understanding of Content Marketing: Understanding of content marketing and social media strategies to support link-building efforts.
