Job Title

We are seeking a Financial Operations Manager to oversee the financial activities of our organization.

About the Role

This is a vital position that requires a strong analytical mind and excellent leadership skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing budgets, analyzing financial data, and providing strategic financial support to drive business growth and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Planning and Analysis
    • Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial models
    • Analyze financial performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement
  • Accounting and Reporting
    • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements
    • Oversee general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll
    • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance
  • Compliance and Audit
    • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations
    • Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and financial reviews
  • Team Management
    • Lead and mentor the finance and accounting teams
    • Develop team skills and improve departmental efficiency
  • Strategic Financial Support
    • Provide insights to senior management for strategic decision-making
    • Evaluate financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them
  • Cash Flow and Treasury Management
    • Manage cash flow to ensure liquidity and operational efficiency
    • Oversee investments, banking relationships, and funding arrangements
Requirements:
  • 5+ years in bookkeeping/accounting
  • 2+ years in management budgeting and projections
  • Proven track record in managerial or controller positions
  • Cashflow management
Skills:
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Quickbooks online, Quickbooks desktop)
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
