Logistics Operations Manager Role

We are seeking an experienced logistics operations manager to oversee the efficient delivery of services to clients. This role involves coordinating and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain process, managing relationships with multiple service providers, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics management, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to motivate teams to achieve high performance targets. They will be responsible for ensuring that all logistics activities comply with regulatory requirements and company policies, focusing on safety, security, and sustainability.

  • Leadership: Lead and develop a team of logistics professionals, fostering a positive work environment and promoting excellence in customer service.
  • Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day logistics operations, including order management, inventory control, transportation coordination, and warehouse management.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Supplier Management: Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers, negotiate service agreements, and monitor their performance to ensure adherence to KPIs and SLAs.

Key Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., logistics, supply chain management, business administration).
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in logistics management or a related field.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in logistics software and MS Office applications.
