Job Title: Technical Systems Manager

This role involves administering SAP technical environments, managing and supporting SAP systems, leading change request management processes, and ensuring system compliance with IT policies and SAP best practices.


The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, 5+ years of experience in SAP BASIS administration, strong knowledge of SAP system architecture, transport routes, and landscape design, as well as familiarity with HANA DB, Oracle, SQL Server, or other SAP-supported databases.


Responsibilities:
  • Install, configure, and upgrade SAP systems, including ECC, S/4HANA, BW, PI/PO, and Solution Manager.
  • Perform system copies, client copies, backups/restores, and SAP kernel upgrades.
  • Monitor SAP system performance and perform tuning as needed.
  • Manage SAP users, roles, and authorizations.
  • Perform daily health checks and resolve technical issues.
  • Work closely with functional and development teams to support SAP projects.
  • Ensure system documentation is up-to-date and compliant with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute system refreshes, patches, and maintenance tasks.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in SAP BASIS administration.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP system architecture, transport routes, and landscape design.
  • Familiarity with HANA DB, Oracle, SQL Server, or other SAP-supported databases.
  • Experience with SAP CHARM in Solution Manager is desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
