SAP B1 Systems Analyst

JOB SUMMARY

This role's main responsibility is to ensure that proper systems are supporting ePLDT and VITRO's Order-to-Cash functions: Order Management, Billing Management, and Collections Management.

This includes collaboration with stakeholders and departments involved in the said function. Through which, proper solutions will be implemented via project management. This role also entails supporting the IT systems and solutions being used to support the said function.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Task Responsibilities:

1.     System Management

o   Serve as the primary IT point of contact for systems implementations with relation to Order-to-Cash

o   Support Sales Orders, Deliveries, Invoicing, Billing Adjustments, Credit Notes, and Collections workflows.

o   Monitor and resolve system-related issues affecting Order, Billing, and Collection processes.

o   Ensure data integrity and accuracy across O2C transactions.

o   Ensure proper assignment of system access in line with role based access

2.     Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering

o   Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Commercial, Billing, and Collection teams to analyze business requirements and translate them into system solutions.

o   Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and risks; propose improvements and automation opportunities.

o   Document system workflows and functional requirements.

3.     Configuration, Testing & Support

o   Configure O2C system modules based on approved changes.

o   Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure proper sign-offs before deployment.

o   Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to billing, AR, and collections.

4.     Governance, Compliance & Reporting

o   Ensure compliance with internal audit controls and company financial policies.

o   Work closely with internal audit to resolve findings related to billing corrections, reconciliations, and back-billing.

o   Generate and maintain key O2C performance reports, including DSO (Days Sales Outstanding), Billing Accuracy, and AR Aging.

5.     Continuous Improvement & Innovation

o   Explore integration opportunities with external systems (CRM, Payment Gateways, Data Warehouses).

o   Recommend system enhancements and digital transformation initiatives aligned with O2C.

o   Actively participate and lead O2C projects, migrations, and upgrades within systems used

JOB QUALIFICATION

Education: Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering

Relevant Experience:

• 4+ years of experience as a SAP B1 Administrator, Business Analyst, or Systems Analyst.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Business One modules: Sales, AR, and Financials
• Proficiency in SAP B1 configuration, queries (SQL), and reporting tools (e.g., Crystal Reports, Power BI).
• Experience in project implementation of Salesforce modules and solutions
• Familiarity with integration concepts (APIs, ETL, middleware) for connecting SAP B1 to other systems.
• Advanced skills in MS Excel, Data Analysis, and Process Mapping

Knowledge / Training:

o   Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in SAP B1 configuration, queries (SQL), and reporting tools (e.g., Crystal Reports, Power BI).
• Experience in project implementation of Salesforce modules and solutions
• Familiarity with integration concepts (APIs, ETL, middleware) for connecting SAP B1 to other systems.
• Advanced skills in MS Excel, Data Analysis, and Process Mapping
