Responsibilities
  • The candidate is responsible for organizing and executing activities in an IT Service Center, as part of a global company.
  • The candidate communicates about tasks for the IT Service Center and ensures tasks are picked up following described procedures.
  • The candidate is required to work independently as well as to collaborate with colleagues from Europe, North and South America.
  • The candidate is able to generate meaningful reports and communicate with stakeholders and management.
  • Candidates should be able to hands on manage IT systems (mainly MS Windows Server, Linux servers, Windows laptops and Macbooks).
  • Candidates should be willing to provide 24/7 coverage (on-call rotation) and participate in after-hours IT duties on a rotational basis.
  • The candidate is required to participate in briefings, participate in cross-functional technical meetings with a strong commitment to the process, and understanding the changes and adjustments management principles.
  • Hybrid set-up. The candidate must be able to work on-site on a weekly basis (2–3 days per week) or as required.
Detailed Responsibilities
  • Play a key role in creating and building out an IT Service Center, managing work in a global company.
  • Organize, document and drive the work and procedures for a team.
  • Execute on requests and procedures, keeping track of tasks in detail, and report on it.
  • Clearly and regularly communicate with the process owners, users and stakeholders.
  • Operations and maintenance of MS Windows server.
  • Operations of Windows Active Directory infrastructure, DNS and user administration.
  • Resolve issues rising from the production support and provide resolution for customer issues.
  • Participate in after-hours weekly shift to respond to emergency requests (on-call rotation).
  • Participate in after-hours monthly patching rotation.
  • Installing new software and system upgrades including the installation and testing of Windows and MacOS patches.
  • Actively monitor systems and resolve issues.
Required Experience And Skills
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to manage own work and that of others when needed.
  • Excellent organizational skills and demonstrated ability to lead teams and projects by creating written procedures and translating assignments to work items.
  • Excellent communication skills to explain technical information and requirements more effectively, in both oral and written.
  • Ability to help creating workable knowledge for the IT Service Center by managing work instructions, system and project documentation.
  • Outstanding customer service and time management skills, a strong sense of ownership, and a can do attitude.
  • Eager to learn and open for change.
  • Minimal 2 years experience of working in complex IT environments.
  • Good working knowledge of Windows Server, AD and group policies, M365 etc…
  • Proven knowledge in working with Microsoft Office, and mastering Excel.
  • Knowledge of Powershell and automation.
  • Experiences with public cloud is a plus.
  • Experience with InTune, Jamf or Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (formerly SCCM) is an asset.
