Your Key Responsibilities

  • Provide professional sourcing support for key business initiatives, supply market research/intelligence to support business decisions in investments and budgets, and establishment of local or sub-regional frame contracts.

  • Integrate Procurement services at sub-regional/country level for the business colleagues (divisions) in scope. Achieve greatest value contribution, benefit realization, and efficiency from all procurement activities and ensure customer satisfaction by meeting their demands in terms of quality, price, and service.

  • Specialize in strategic sourcing of production equipment, network supplies, and transportation capacities to reduce costs and ensure quality and supply as needed by the business/function in scope.

  • Support and implement local category strategies leveraging regional and global strategies.

  • Pro-actively search for alternative sources of supply to ensure continuity of business processes as required by DPDHL Business Partners.

  • Ensure sourcing, purchasing, and company policy adherence of local divisional colleagues.

  • Promulgate business ethics/compliance in external and internal engagements to DHL Group.

  • Supplier management, database maintenance, supplier classification, and new sources identification.

  • Track and maintain accurate data in the Procurement tools, suppliers, rates, contracts, spend, projects.

  • Establish close contact with local business units to ensure actual and future knowledge of demand and service quality.

  • Contribute to the cooperation between countries and regional sourcing.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience/qualification.

  • 7 years of relevant experience preferably in the Logistics, Supply Chain, and Transport or relative industry.

  • Understanding of and working experience with procurement practices and procedures and commercial law, preferably category specific.

  • Project management experience preferred.

  • English conversant and local language as needed.

  • Flexible to travel locally.
