Engineering Director Position

We are seeking a seasoned Engineering Director to lead our team of engineers in designing cutting-edge semiconductor test interface solutions.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our global engineering organization and contribute to the development of innovative technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead project planning, resource allocation, and technology feasibility studies to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Provide hands-on technical guidance and coaching to engineers, ensuring they have the necessary skills and tools to succeed.
  • Monitor and report team performance, project status, and key metrics to senior management.
  • Collaborate with production and operations teams to ensure designs are manufactured and delivered at the highest quality and on schedule.
  • Build relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
  • Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to boost design efficiency.
  • Manage end-to-end hardware project execution, including:
  • Device testing requirement assessment and feasibility study
  • Risk analysis and mitigation planning
  • Schedule planning and project management
  • Design execution and implementation
  • Regular reviews with internal and external customers
  • Quality control and verification
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Micro-Electronics, Mechatronics, Communications, Instrumentation, or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of electronic circuit theory, multi-layer board design, and embedded systems.
  • Familiarity with signal integrity, power integrity, and high-speed design principles.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; able to work effectively across cultures and regions.
  • Proven ability to build, motivate, and lead engineering teams.
  • Adaptable, detail-oriented, and able to simplify complex ideas for decision-making.
  • Open-minded problem solver with a track record of driving change and innovation.
