Compliance and Technology Risk Specialist

The primary responsibility of this role is to lead the execution of IT audit engagements and readiness assessments under the direction of a management team member.
- Evaluate the design and effectiveness of technology controls, identifying areas for improvement and recommending corrective actions.
- Communicate IT audit findings effectively to senior management and other stakeholders.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments, analyzing potential vulnerabilities and developing strategies to mitigate risks.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with clients and internal teams, fostering trust and open communication.
- Prepare and present high-quality audit reports, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to enhance audit processes and methodologies.
To excel in this role, you will require excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with a strong analytical mind and ability to work independently. A Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, cyber security, or a related field is essential, as is at least 1-2 years of experience performing IT audit engagements at a Big 4 or other audit/consulting firm. Experience with GRC and compliance automation tools (Vanta, Drata, Secureframe) is highly desirable. Additionally, active or working towards CISA, CPA, CISSP, ISO27001 Lead Auditor, or PCI QSA certification is required.
