Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Cybersecurity Risk Management Specialist. In this role, you will work closely with clients to identify and mitigate cybersecurity risks associated with their vendor supply chains. Your expertise will be invaluable in helping us deliver successful solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with clients to assess and address third-party risk management challenges
  • Develop and implement effective strategies for vendor identification, stratification, onboarding, monitoring, remediation, and cybersecurity risk questionnaires
  • Lead project delivery, including project and process management, reporting, engagement in senior leadership meetings, drafting and reviewing materials for senior management and other governance activities
  • Communicate complex findings and recommendations to client stakeholders, leveraging best practices, tools, and technology
  • Mature standard operating procedures for customers to optimize utilization of our offerings
  • Enable business development through renewal, cross-sell, and up-sell opportunities while maintaining client trust
  • Create repeatable processes and frameworks portable across clients and industries to accelerate future third-party risk cybersecurity risk management implementations
Qualifications:
  • CISSP or similar certification is preferred
  • Proficiency in encryption fundamentals and network design is required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in third-party risk management consulting, including vendor cybersecurity risk, at a Big 4 consulting firm or vendor risk management company is essential
  • Clear communication and writing skills are necessary
  • Ability to conduct deep client discovery to uncover root cause problems and build trusted relationships is crucial
