Virtual Project Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Virtual Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our construction operations, you will be responsible for providing full project support, managing documentation, schedules, budgets, and communications with trade partners.

About the Role
  • Assist with ordering materials, issuing purchase orders, and managing trade partner documentation.
  • Collect W-9s and Certificates of Insurance from trade partners.
  • Maintain updated schedules, budgets, and project records.
  • Capture detailed notes in daily construction stand-ups and weekly production meetings.
  • Follow up on assigned tasks and ensure accountability across the construction team.
Key Responsibilities

The Virtual Project Manager will provide project management services, including:

  • Coordinating with the Director of Construction and site team to ensure projects stay on track.
  • Streamlining processes and coordinating tasks.
  • Maintaining accurate project records and tracking expenses.
  • Soliciting bids from subcontractor trade partners and evaluating proposals.
  • Managing contracts, W9s, and Certificates of Insurance (COIs) with trade partners.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
  • Prior experience in construction project management or related field preferred.
  • Familiarity with scheduling tools, Gantt charts, and critical path scheduling.
  • Excellent written communication and note-taking skills.
