Compliance Analyst Job Description

This is a comprehensive job description for a Compliance Analyst position. As a key member of our security team, you will play a vital role in shaping our cybersecurity protocols and ensuring they meet the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support senior management in executing elements and projects within our security program.
  • Tailor security policies and procedures to meet clients' unique operational needs.
  • Serve as an expert on our security education platform.
  • Develop and implement phishing tests for clients on a regular basis.
  • Provide compliance audit readiness support when required.
  • Implement and manage GRC platforms for clients.
  • Document best practice procedures for commonly used technologies.
  • Identify system misconfigurations and recommend solutions for clients.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance services and create insightful security use-cases.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Security Technologies, Information Security, Business Resilience, Technology Risk, or related fields.
  • External-facing client experience.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal audiences.
  • An understanding of cybersecurity domains, including Security Operations, Security Engineering, and Information Risk Management.
  • Report writing skills with emphasis on spelling, grammar, and word usage.
  • Strong communication skills for summarization and commonality detection.

Nice to Have:

  • Intermediate coding/scripting skills to automate processes and scale implementation efforts.
  • Familiarity with technical system access controls.
  • The ability to provide on-the-job training and knowledge sharing.
