Job Title: Cybersecurity Governance Specialist

The role of the Cybersecurity Governance Specialist is a strategic position that encompasses the functions of a Security Manager, Data Protection Officer, and Compliance Manager. The Security Manager oversees logical and physical security, focusing on protecting information confidentiality, integrity, and availability while maintaining efficient security policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage cybersecurity measures to safeguard company assets.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks and serve as the primary contact person for regulatory bodies.
  • Oversee the full compliance of the organization and its employees with laws and regulations.

Key Competencies:

  • Strong project management fundamentals and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, presentation, coaching, time management, problem-solving, observation, and investigation skills.
  • High proficiency in technology usage and business acumen.
  • Knowledge of industry practices, professional standards, and regulations.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent.
  • Minimum five years of working experience in Information Security and Data Privacy.
  • Internationally recognized certification in Information Security and Privacy (e.g., ITIL, CIPM, CISSP).
  • Minimum five years of working experience as a Compliance Officer/Compliance Manager or in a similar position.
