Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Ocean Freight Specialist to join our team. As an Ocean Freight Specialist, you will be responsible for operating on a segment of service we offer for Ocean freight and driving improvements in the process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interact with country representatives and various stakeholders in your regular execution of assigned tasks.
  • Participate in problem solving and process improvement with the team manager.
  • Assist to meet performance targets.
  • Evaluate department processes. Recommend and coordinate needed changes based on process analysis.
  • Work closely with colleagues in the business to identify solutions, best practices and KPIs to improve existing processes.
  • Assist staff to resolve complex problems and be responsible for quality control.
  • Ensure thorough documentation for the process.
  • Participate in additional projects assigned by the team manager.
  • Ensure process compliance.
  • Drive Customer Satisfaction Processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Graduate (Bachelor's degree from a recognized University in any discipline)
  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience
  • Logistics background / Ocean Freight operations experience will be an added advantage
  • Good computer knowledge (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Good communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
